Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian musician and singer. There are more than 20 albums that have been made available by her. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk-rock and alternative rock although it also has elements of punk, funk, hip beat and jazz. Ani Difranco is acknowledged as a pioneer of music that is feminist. In the year 1990 she was one of the first to establish her own record label. DiFranco was a born on the 23rd of September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco.
