Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Bolduan is most famously known as the anchor for the CNN morning show At This Hour. She co-anchored CNN's weekday morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan participated in CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. She also spent time in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan was part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative discussions, such as negotiations for raising the federal loan limit as well as the Super Committee's deliberations. Additionally, she was a general assignment correspondent covering stories such as an attack on the federal government's Christmas Day bombing attempt the important Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of Obamacare's stimulus program of the government in 2009.
