Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jameson; September 2, 1966)[3][4][5] is a Mexican and American actor as well as film producer. Her career began in Mexico which she played in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991), and the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) that was a huge success and earned her an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were but among her numerous Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal as painter Frida Kahlo in the biographical film Frida (2002), which she also co-produced, made her the first Mexican actress to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress[6Additionally, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Later on, Hayek focused more on making films, while also starring in action-oriented movies like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
