
Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 is an American actress. Her roles include Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla who is the mother of Selena, in Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-2017). She is currently playing Camila Diaz on the drama series on Amazon Prime Video Undone (2019). Marie began her acting career in her teens. Her first film role came in the 1988 film Salsa. Other credits on television and film include Early Edition (dirty dancing), Dirty Dancing (selena), Spin City (ally Mcbeal), and Selena (spin city). Marie was chosen to play Angie Lopez on the ABC comedy series George Lopez. In 2001, Marie starred in the comedy-drama film Tortilla Soup alongside Hector Elizondo, Jacqueline Obradors, and Elizabeth Pena. Marie was also a part of the PBS drama American Family. She launched her clothing line "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. She was also featured in an ad campaign for PETA that year , encouraging pet owners to spay/neuter their pets. 3 Marie was the lead character in Switched at Birth on ABC Family/Freeform from 2011 until 2017.
